Updates to Product Feedback Statuses in the Community

Hi Clari Community 👋

We’re making a few minor but meaningful updates to the statuses you’ll see on product feedback ideas submitted here in the community. These changes are designed to better reflect how our Product, Design, and Engineering teams review, prioritize, and implement your ideas behind the scenes.

At Clari, your feedback is essential to shaping our product roadmap. Many of our most impactful features and improvements begin as conversations right here in the community. Thank you for your continued partnership, thoughtful suggestions, and collaboration!

🔄 What’s Changing?

We’ve fine-tuned our idea status labels to align more closely with our internal product development process. As always, we’re committed to transparency and keeping you in the loop as your ideas move through our internal process. These updates are designed to help us do that better! Here’s a quick summary of what’s new:

• ✅ More clarity at every stage – Updated status names and definitions make it easier to understand exactly where your idea sits in our process.
   
• 🚧 “In Research” and “Under Consideration” are more clearly defined – These now reflect the actual discovery work happening behind the scenes before ideas move into development or are deprioritized.
   
• 🗓️More clarity on “On Roadmap” vs. In Development – You’ll still see “On Roadmap” status when an idea is prioritized, but it will include context that a specific timeline may not yet be set. This is to help distinguish your ideas that are On Roadmap from your ideas that are actively In Development.
   
• 🧪 New status for rollout phase – We’ve added a Rollout stage so you can track when ideas are in early customer testing before they are launched in a New Feature Release!

Here’s a side-by-side summary of the previous and new statuses:

Under Consideration
Upon submission, your idea is added to our Product team’s feedback repository for initial assessment. Our Product team will review your idea in this stage to determine its alignment with our current development focus areas. This evaluation will lead to an update to one of the following statuses: In Research, On Roadmap, or Not Currently Planned.
 

In Research
The team is conducting further research to assess how your idea fits within our product development strategy (e.g. business case, requirements, user research, etc.). After this analysis, the status will be updated to either On Roadmap or Not Currently Planned.
 

On Roadmap - No timeframe

Your idea aligns with our product roadmap. While we may not have a specific release timeframe yet, our team recognizes its value and has prioritized it accordingly.
 

In Development
We’re thinking about this use case or this business need too, and our Product, Engineering, and Design teams are actively working on building this idea into the platform. Once it’s ready to go live, we’ll update the status to Launched. 
 

Not Currently Planned
After careful consideration, we’ve determined that your idea doesn’t align with our current development priorities. Product team has determined that it’s not aligned with our current product development priorities. We may be prioritizing other things or thinking about how to address your feedback differently. That said, we truly value your input and encourage you to keep sharing ideas in the future.
 

Rollout
This feature is currently being tested with customers on a limited basis. Your organization may even have early access to this feature based on your feedback!

Launched
