Hello,

Is it possible to create a reference field, formula field, or any type of field in the Field Configuration within Clari? For example, if I just want to copy a field into a duplicate field or calculate TCV/12, can I do this in Clari?

Thanks!

Hi, Eric! Field Config allows you to Add Fields from Salesforce to Clari. So you could create a field that calculates that in CRM, for example, and then bring that Field into Clari. You can also put the same field from CRM into the various layouts (i.e. Opportunity Grid, Details Panel, Filters, Groups, etc.) wherever you need it; simply Edit That Field to add it to the additional layouts in Clari where you want to see it.

So the field would have to be in SFDC first. There is no way I can create a field, such as a formula or calculation field, in Clari itself if it’s not already in SFDC?

You can’t create a new field in Clari from Field Configuration today. We can create such fields for you in your Forecast Tabs though. You can learn more about how the forecast module is set up and the different types of fields we can create in Clari University, and the Knowledge Base.
