Love this new feature that shows the actual change between the selected date range in each of the Waterfall buckets.  Currently Clari is only using CLOSE DATE.  Just hoping this may be customizable in the near future as our business uses our custom field of BOOKING DATE (a combination of Start & Close).  We also utilize FORECASTED CHURN DATE on the churn side.  So CLOSE DATE is not ideal and I thought we were told that Waterfall / Clari analytics uses our BOOKING DATE not CLOSE DATE (what our Clari rep told us) How did my pipeline closing “this quarter” change 10/01/24-10/22/24”.  We had asked since we use BOOKING DATE, that we cannot use CLARI if it not pulling deals and the analytics for these deals by our BOOKING DATE.

Hi, Kerry! Good news — you can adjust the date that is used in Waterfall and other Analytics Modules. Although the default option is Close Date, you can add other date fields that your organization uses, like your Booking Date, to the options that you see Chart Settings at the top of the Waterfall chart and the other Analytics Modules:

An admin will need to add Booking Date to the Analytics Close Date layout in Field Configuration. You can learn all about Field Configuration here in Clari University if you’re not familiar.

Hi Kenna - yes I am very much aware of the field configuration and that I can add different dates into the Clari analytics.  I was calling out the new Time Machine feature for the actual date changes for each bucket shown in the right panel.  It shows Close Date - standard right now - although this will be showing whatever we setup like Start date or Booking date, but it still is represented on the Waterfall - Time Machine as Close Date.  I was referring to be able to change the name of this field shown.

Thank YOU.

Ah, thank you for clarifying, @Kerry Brough. This totally makes sense. Your idea is already in our Product team’s feedback repository. They’ll review it to determine if it is or is not aligned with our currently planned roadmap for this year. If it is, then your idea will be updated to On Roadmap. If your idea is not aligned with an area of product development that Clari has planned to focus on this year, then it will be updated to Not Currently Planned for the time being. If further research and discovery is required, then your idea may update to In Research when that happens.
