Groove Dialer’s local dial feature helps match the caller’s area code to the recipient’s, making it appear as if the call is coming from a familiar location. This can be useful when making outbound calls to different U.S. area codes, allowing users to alternate between their Groove number and local dial for flexibility. For international calls, local dial matches at the country level.
Due to regulatory requirements across different countries and states, users should coordinate with their admin to ensure proper setup and compliance when acquiring international numbers.
Additionally, call history in the Recents tab allows users to track which number was used for their previous calls. The number listed after “Via” is the number that was used to place the call.
