The due date or Submission Date in Forecasting is a global setting in Clari, meaning it is set once at the organizational level. There are a few options:

  1. Reset weekly at the beginning of the new forecasting week
  2. Reset bi-weekly
  3. Reset on a rolling, set number of hours
  4. Reset on a specific day of the week

Our best practice recommendation for most organizations is to use option #4, and select the same day as your organization’s global forecast call. So, for example, if your CRO has a forecast call with their reports on Friday, then select Friday as the reset day.

It’s important to note setting only impacts the Forecast Module. It will not automatically later the week-by-week dates in the Pulse Module, for example.

@kenna - this is good advice but wondering where we can find how to view this global setting @Helen Boffy asked me this question and I couldn’t find in Knowledge Base.

Hi, @Parin Lad! This is not visible or configurable in Clari Studio today, but it is on our roadmap to add this setting in Forecast Config. For now, folks can reach out to Clari Support if they need to confirm or make adjustments to this setting.
