Clari Export - Configure Full view

Hi everyone,

 

Is there a way to configure the fields being exported in the “Full” export please? The issues we are having are:

  1. Size of the full view - most of the data isn’t really relevant for what we need. The simple and detailed views also do not have the data we require.
  2. One of the fields included in the default Full view is an open text field which becomes problematic whilst delimiting.

Are you referring to the Export from the Forecasting or Opportunities module? I saw you mentioned Simple/Detailed/Full so I am assuming from Forecasting. If so, we do not currently have the ability to configure the file itself, but you do have the flexibility to configure the columns that are in the Expanded View. Removing the field that is an open text field type and the other “non-relevant” fields from the Expanded View should allow your export to be more digestible.

If you are referring to the Opportunities module, a best practice I’ve seen with my customers is to create a new Mode for Analytics/Reporting purposes. This give you the flexibility to configure the columns that fits best for your export needs.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your response. It is indeed the forecast module. I cannot see where I can edit my expanded view?

Hi @Shanwaz Ahmed, your Sales Ops team will have access to our new Field Configuration feature next week (unless they are already certified, then this should be live now). From the Field Config feature is where admins will be able to configure the fields in Expanded View. If you have any further questions, I would recommend reaching out to your Clari CSM for further details.
