Peter presented the forecast module, describing it as a central hub for revenue teams. "So from here what you're seeing is we'll start here at the top this sentence frame. This is essentially where you can look at all the sales leaders, or reps, or even just at the top level as a CRO that's opted into the forecast," he explained.

 

He further detailed the functionality of the module: "Now you see a bunch of different columns here. So these are the forecast field columns and this is where you'll see titles for each one of these, like plan booked, gap to go, forecast categories like commit, upside and et cetera. So the way this is all laid out is just based upon how you want this configured for your team."

 

Peter also demonstrated the forecast expanded view feature: "So essentially what you're doing here is you'll see your forecast history as well as your teams. So in this example, Lucy Corda, Lucy Corda's team. And then we compare that week over week forecast history calls between these two folks, as well as to the plan and by plan."

Ryan chimed in to highlight the importance of understanding the filter functions in Clari. "So this is a good way to kind of just take inventory, see what we have right now for each of those columns. And then if you need to, we can always edit that," he pointed out.

He affirmed, "Yeah, that's a really great point, and especially just in making sure you have a great forecast set up. The foundation comes from having the right filters set up in place."
