If you’re looking to use a new SFDC environment in your Clari Instance, please use the information below to help us determine what else is required in order to support this for your org.
First off, we’ll need to determine:
- When will the new SFDC instance be live?
- Will there be any additional users that need to be added? Are there any hierarchy changes that will be taking place?
- Will you be bringing over all existing fields into the new instance?
- Can you migrate 4 quarters worth of history for these fields? Clari will use this history in order to rebuild the projection model.
- Will you be using the same or different corporate domain
Here are the considerations by module that we’ll need to determine:
Opportunities:
Note *Saved views will not be migrated
- How do you determine opportunity ownership?
- What will be your updated roll up amount?
- Is it a Formula Field?
- What are the Opportunity Type / Record Type filters & values that should be leveraged?
- Are all modes getting migrated?
- Should Signal connectors be set up in the same way?
Forecasting:
Note * You’ll be given a user list and will need to confirm the opt ins for each user. We will use your existing user + opt ins as a baseline.
- Which tabs should be migrated?
- Will the role hierarchy be updated? If so, what are those updates?
Dashboards - Will not be migrated
Analytics - Clari will base the projection off of the field history for the new instance. Clari is unable to take the previous migration and push it over to the new instance
Accounts
- Confirm if all contacts are getting migrated as Clari will take the contact domains and match it with the accounts to pull in activity
Capture
- Confirm that Clari can use the existing matching logic for contact and activity logging.
