My leadership team wants my IC team to update a template within Clari mulitple times per week and, TBH, its quite time consuming to update as I have to click back and forth and manually calculate things like # of accounts or $ amount of renewal opportunities that are marked a “tier 3 churn risk”, “tier 2 churn risk”, etc.

My question is, since all of this data already exists in Salesforce, is there a way to automate pulling these specific metrics so that I don’t manually have to crunch these things multiple times per week?

Hi, @Andrew White! In short, yes! If you have an amount field that you want to use to roll up the total $ amount of Tier 3 Churn Risk, or Tier 2 Churn Risk (assuming these are a field in Salesforce too) renewal opportunities, etc., we should be able to add fields to your Forecast Tab to calculate those for you. I have also seen customers create custom fields to help automate counting total numbers in the Forecast Module, so depending on what record you seeking to count and exactly how your Forecast Module is set up, we can chat through how we could make that happen to.

We call these Calculation Fields, and (for now) the ability to build these types of fields on your own has not been incorporated into Forecast Config yet (but it’s on roadmap!). You can reach out to your main point of contact here at Clari or submit a case in our Support Portal with the details about the fields, how you would like to calculate these fields, where they should go in your Forecast Tab, etc. Details on how to submit a forecast config request can be found here if you’re not already familiar with how to do that.

@Kenna You have no clue how helpful that would be. I’ll submit a config request now!
