Hi Vinay - I am a new customer (SaaS Company/EdTech) of Clari Copilot and we had a super rushed integration. We are trying to now do a wave of Feature Rollouts and Smart CRM is one of them. We are having a heck of a time setting them up and are confused “how” they work. Do you have some recommendations for a successful rollout? We are starting small with 2-3 Smart Fields but need some help with how they work. Like what is the end user experience and expectation. We were under the impression it is an “auto writeback” to SFDC but from all my research it sounds like it it not automatic and that there is some end user steps to push it to SFDC. Please advise, any help would be appreciated.

With respect to how CRM Suggestions work you can refer to this Solution article. Today, these CRM suggestions are not written back automatically. The user needs to review and push the suggestions to the CRM either from the Copilot call review screen or via slack, ask shown in the GIFs above in the section called “Updating Your CRM is Now Super Simple ✌🏻”. 

We have plans in our roadmap to make these updates automatic but we don’t have an updated timeline yet. 

 

In terms of a best practice for the rollout, I would recommend maybe picking a Sales methodology and experimenting this by applying it to a specific team within your org. To test, you could choose to either use the default CRM groups as shown in the Kbase article or create your own CRM fields. If you are creating a new CRM field, you can always preview to find snippets that match your description and then save it. These will start applying and showing up in your calls going forward every time there is a match. 

With respect to a few best practices while creating new CRM Field groups, please refer to the section above in this post “Getting Started 🔎”, you could use those as pointers to come up with your description (maybe even use the above guidelines in your GPT prompt along with your requirement so it helps you with the process).
