Ways to Apply Ask Clari-like Functionality to a group of calls

Our users love Ask Clari’s ability to help them gain additional clarity and understand sentiment within individual calls. But they consistently ask for the ability to apply Ask Clari questions to a group of calls.

For example, they’d like to filter by customer name and then Ask Clari to consider all of the calls for that customer, asking questions like:

  • Summarize the key themes/topics from the last 10 calls with CustomerName.
  • What is CustomerName's current sentiment towards our products and how has that changed over time?
  • How has CustomerName’s focus shifted over time and which issues are most prevalent to them?

I’m not aware of any way to use Ask Clari for a group of calls. If that is possible, please show me the way! And if it’s not, I hope it can be submitted as a feature request. It’s probably the most common request I get from our users.

In the meantime, I’m curious if anyone has creative solutions on how to achieve this within current functionality. Are there filters that can help? Or a way to efficiently submit the same questions via Ask Clari to multiple calls individually and synthesize the responses?

Looking for any and all ideas. Thanks!

Hi ​@ryan.costello— Thanks for raising this question!  

Currently, Ask Clari’s capability is available only at the individual-call level.  However, we do have plans to bring Ask Clari to the Deal level in Clari in the near future!  While I can’t confirm specific timelines just yet, please know that this is a high-priority item on our Product team’s roadmap, precisely because it’s a top ask from customers like yourself.  Your feature request is definitely valuable and helps reinforce the importance of this capability.

An Idea was actually submitted for this functionality a few days ago.  We likely don’t need to submit another Idea because the two would end up being combined into one for more centralized tracking.  I would recommend going and upvoting that Idea though, as our Product team does review the number of upvotes Ideas have to get a pulse on which feature requests are in the highest demand.  That Idea can be found here.  

In the interim, for gaining an understanding of what’s going on within a deal, our Deal Summary feature in Clari can provide a helpful overview.  It synthesizes information from emails and activities at the deal level over the last 8 weeks.  Additionally, the Deal Summary offers insights into next steps, pain points, budget, and decision criteria as convenient dropdown options.  While it’s not a direct workaround for Ask Clari’s specific capabilities across multiple calls, it can offer a consolidated view of deal health and key aspects in the interim.  If the Deal Summary feature sounds helpful, you can find additional information on it here.
